About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Advancement Operations and Campaigns to play a pivotal role in the design, integration, and oversight of the systems, policies, analytics, and campaign infrastructure that drive the institution's fundraising success. This senior executive leader will be responsible for shaping and leading the operational foundation for a comprehensive campaign, with a focus on modernizing systems, leveraging data, and ensuring the operational excellence necessary for a sustained annual fundraising program. The successful candidate will lead a team of professionals across donor relations, prospect development, and advancement services, and will be a key partner to senior leadership in translating institutional priorities into executable fundraising strategies. Candidates for the Assistant Vice President role should have a Bachelor's degree and 7 to 10+ years' of progressive advancement or operations experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Technical proficiency with fundraising CRMs, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in managing and mentoring professional staff are essential. The role requires a strategic, collaborative leader with a strong background in comprehensive campaigns, the ability to work with high-profile stakeholders, and a commitment to the values of philanthropy and the mission of the institution. A Master's degree and experience with specialized fund-management software are desired qualifications.
