Director, Human Resources Business Partner

Lead the design, implementation, and execution of the organization’s HR strategy and overall HR program delivery Drive HR strategy toward a culture of excellence and prepare leaders and teams to embrace organizational change Collaborate with HR and business leaders to ensure employee engagement and results Consult with senior business leaders to enhance organizational design and effectiveness and drive employee engagement Translate company-wide objectives and initiatives into tailored strategies for the organization, technical leaders, and employees Lead large-scale change management planning and execution impacting hundreds to thousands of employees Implement organizational structures that improve individual and organizational performance while minimizing business disruption Develop and implement organization-specific people and workforce plans and roadmaps aligned with business needs Drive strategies to attract, engage, and retain world-class talent Own execution of the talent management lifecycle, including talent acquisition, talent integration, performance management, total rewards management, employee engagement, and retention Potentially lead a team of HR Business Partners Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience (degree preferred) Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree or 10 years with a Bachelor’s degree People leadership experience, including direct management of Human Resources team members Experience establishing trust and credibility with leaders and stakeholders at all levels Ability to influence, challenge, and partner effectively across the organization Strong written and verbal communication skills Data and analytics skills, quantitative reasoning, and data storytelling expertise Demonstrated track record of working collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Action-oriented, persistent, and courageous outlook when navigating complex situations Willingness to work in person at Ford’s Dearborn, MI headquarters at least four days per week Proven track record of strong HR Business Partnership Experience in organizational design, talent management, and leading transformation Strong emotional resilience in the face of change and challenge Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading HR strategy, organizational design, and talent management while fostering employee engagement and driving change management initiatives.
