Payroll Specialist

Perform all aspects of audit as assigned within the organization. Audits may include billing, accounts receivable and payable, and non-financial and clinical areas to ensure policies and procedures are being followed. Position is responsible for the review and accuracy of data. Work with operating groups to ensure procedures and policies are understood and followed. Review and oversee timecards via interaction with department timekeepers. Prepare and process accurate biweekly payrolls in accordance with policies and government regulations. Reconcile and audit after-payroll reports. Process employees' voluntary deductions and tax withholding forms. Collaborate with Human Resources for the maintenance of the payroll system for all hourly and salaried employees. Process paperwork for direct deposit accounts, garnishments, child support, levies, etc. Answer telephones and assist employees with various issues and concerns. Possess an understanding of payroll systems and payroll flow. Experience with or knowledge of payroll systems is a plus. Perform all other duties as assigned.
