Food Production Job

Location: Livonia, MI

Type of Work: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Shift: Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday)

Main Purpose and Function

We are looking for responsible and dedicated general workers to support daily operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This position is essential for maintaining product quality, efficiency, and food safety standards.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Pack, label, and prepare meat products according to specifications
• Load and unload products on production lines safely and efficiently
• Inspect, sort, and weigh products to ensure quality standards
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper waste disposal
• Comply with all food safety, sanitation, and company policies
• Assist in basic equipment operation as needed
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks at the end of the shift
• Support colleagues and supervisors with other assigned tasks

Skills and Requirements

• Entry-level position – no experience required (training offered)
• Ability to work in a cold and fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Punctuality and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team with a positive attitude
• Bilingual or Spanish-speaking required

Physical Requirements

• Stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks for long periods
• Lift 40 to 50 pounds regularly
• Comfortable working in refrigerated temperatures

Work Environment

• Cold storage facility / meat processing (35–45°F)
• Exposure to raw meat, production machinery, and cleaning products
• Dynamic production environment focused on teamwork
