Seeking an expert Bulgarian Audio Transcriber for a remote, part-time position, responsible for converting audio recordings of native speakers into accurate, conventionally formatted transcripts, while applying expert linguistic judgment and adhering to project-specific style guides. Key responsibilities Transcribe audio recordings into accurate, time-aligned written text following specific style guidelines Make principled orthographic decisions for dialectal and colloquial speech, and flag ambiguous segments Self-review submissions for quality and engage with QA reviewers on edge cases and style guide updates Required qualifications Native fluency in Bulgarian with lifelong residence or deep immersion in Bulgaria Mastery of Bulgarian Cyrillic orthography and ability to distinguish Bulgarian from Macedonian and Serbian At least two years of professional transcription or related experience Strong ear for Western and Eastern Bulgarian regional accents Comfortable with web-based annotation platforms and high-speed internet access
