Job Title RN – Patient Care Unit (IMC/PCU/Stepdown) Location Alliance, NE | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM–7:00 PM) | Onsite Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed private unit, including a Medical Decision Unit, serving a population that includes COPD exacerbation, CHF, swing bed, wound care, long-term antibiotic therapy, amputation care, post-partum, and pediatric patients Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 (1:5 stretch) with support from a non-patient-carrying Charge Nurse on every shift Perform central telemetry monitoring utilizing portable telemetry monitors and document using Meditech Expanse ; operate Alaris infusion pumps Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including Social Services, Case Managers, Therapy, Lab, and Pharmacy staff May float to the Emergency Department in a task nurse capacity only Wear navy blue scrubs per facility dress code Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical Surgical or Telemetry unit Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital required BLS certification (American Heart Association) required ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required Reliable personal transportation required — ride-share services are not available in this area Preferred Experience / Skills PALS certification (American Heart Association) preferred Experience with swing bed patient populations and extended-stay care Familiarity with Meditech Expanse electronic health records system Why Join Us Work within a well-supported unit featuring 24/7 lab services, robust therapy coverage with multiple daily patient visits, and dedicated Case Management and Social Services on the floor Structured orientation program including classroom training and a preceptored shift to set you up for success Concentric Healthcare Staffing Job ID 776524.
