Job Overview: We are seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our business office. This role provides accounting and administrative support through accounts receivable and related office functions that help ensure the department operates efficiently and accurately. Key Responsibilities: Review and process vendor invoices with a high level of accuracy and timeliness. Compare documentation against invoices to complete 2-way matching activities. Assign proper general ledger coding and enter transactions into the accounting system. Respond to supplier questions, research payment issues, and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently. Prepare and assist with check runs and other scheduled payment activities.Maintain well-organized financial records so documentation is complete, current, and easy to retrieve. Additional Support Assist support staff with time and billing inquiries Enter new file memos as requested Provide general backup support to the Business Office Qualifications: Associate's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred but not required Two or more years of accounting experience Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Accounting software Recent accounts receivable experience, including account reconciliation and analysis Professional, detail-oriented, and service focused approach Collaborative team player with a willingness to assist where needed and support timely completion of urgent matters Adaptable and proactive in responding to changing priorities, urgent requests, and daily office needs Location: Farmington Valley - 519 Cooke St. Farmington, CT 06032 Pay Range: Salary $50,000~$75,000 Benefits: Career advancement in a growing field.
