Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams of designated anatomy to physician specifications and established protocols
• Work with latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative
• 2 years of experience required
• ARDMS certification required
• Valid state license or certification required at time of submission
• Charting system experience required
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratios: 3 during days, 1 during nights and weekends
• Daily census of 60 patients with approximately 30 visits per day
• Work in 2-room department within 126-bed facility
• Treat patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Must complete Pass/Fail exam within first 3 attempts
• Complete labs within 48 hours of signing
• PA fingerprints required and may require travel time
• Skills include: obstetrics (1st and 2nd trimester), abdominal, vascular, breast, carotid, Doppler studies, emergency department, ICU, pediatrics, and transvaginal ultrasounds
• Interdisciplinary support provided by radiology department
• One pre-approved time off allowed
• 50-mile local radius applies
