District Manager

What We Need The District Manager is a senior‑level manager proactively leading a Field Sales team in sales strategies to drive revenue and customer satisfaction, meeting organizational objectives. The role creates strategies to drive sales, expand market share, and ensure customer satisfaction within a geographic area, achieving annual sales, margin targets, and operating income goals. What You’ll Do Participate in sales calls with the Field Sales team to supplement selling efforts. Collaborate with Sales Operations and sales leadership to develop and manage sales forecasting and targets for the geography and field sales team. Build and maintain relationships with key customers and collaborate with sales representatives to address their needs or issues. Conduct market analysis to understand local trends, competition, and customer behavior, using insights to adopt sales strategies and approaches to drive sales. Collaborate with Sales Operations and sales leadership to optimize geographic assignments for Field Sales team members to maximize sales opportunities and customer satisfaction. Conduct regular sales team meetings to review performance, share best practices, and communicate organizational strategies. Serve as an escalation contact for the Field Sales team to help resolve customer issues or concerns. Oversee the use of the customer relationship management (CRM) system by the Field Sales team to manage interactions, sales activities, and pipeline management. Monitor Field Sales team members’ selling techniques and interactions to evaluate performance and provide constructive feedback. Monitor geographical expense reporting to ensure adherence to budgets and company travel and expense policies. Perform other duties as required. What You Have Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience. 8‑10 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. 3‑5 years of management experience. What You’re Good At Develop intermediate understanding of people management practices and managing small teams of direct reports. Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals. Focused on and responsible for the team’s productivity and impact. Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively. High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products. Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.
