Community Safety Program CoordinatorThe Community Safety Program Coordinator will support the successful implementation of programs, events, and other activities implemented by the Division of Community Safety Policy and Engagement (DCS) within the Comprehensive Injury Center at the Medical College of Wisconsin (CIC).Primary ResponsibilitiesCoordinate logistics for in-person and virtual meetings and eventsSupport the development and preparation of presentation materialsMonitor program and project priorities, deliverables and deadlinesDraft, review, and edit proposals, external correspondence, presentations, and other documentsDocument meetings and events via notes, photographs, and video as neededDraft and provide content for social media, reports, and other external communications in partnership with CIC Communications SpecialistMonitor and update files and documents including but not limited to presentations, program calendars, reports, proposals, and other relevant documentsResearch and monitor trends relevant to community safety, public health, and violence preventionManage program communications and follow through of DCS partners and program participantsCoordinate enrollment, registration, and follow up activities for meetings and eventsManage the Division's social media accounts and web content, including planning, creating, scheduling, and posting material and monitoring engagementMaintain a calendar of events and observances relevant to violence prevention and community safetyDesign and deliver presentations, facilitate meetings and trainings, and respond to technical assistance requests from partnersDevelop, adapt, and implement templates and organizing processes that support consistent and quality program deliveryMaintain contact and relationship management systems and support effective partner relationsRepresent the CIC-DCS on internal and external committees and working groups as neededKnowledge – Skills – AbilitiesWe are seeking a self-motivated team-player with experience supporting high-performing leaders and the implementation of virtual and in-person programs, meetings, and events. Mastery of Zoom and Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint is required. Individual must be a service-oriented team-player with high attention to detail and ability to perform successfully in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines. Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence required.QualificationsAppropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degreeMinimum Required Experience: 3 yearsPreferred Experience: Government, nonprofit public healthField: Public Health Administration and Community EngagementPhysical RequirementsWork requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously.Work EnvironmentOccasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment.Sensory AcuityAbility to detect and translate speech or other communication required.
