Contracts Manager

Overview

cyDaptiv Solutions is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to provide leadership and oversight for contract administration and serve as an authorized company representative in contractual matters. The Contracts Manager will have authority to represent the company in matters relating to contracts, including contract negotiations, modifications, proposal submissions, and other contract administration activities.

This position is contingent upon cyDaptiv Solutions being awarded the applicable contract. Employment for this role will be dependent upon contract award and Government approval, as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an authorized cyDaptiv Solutions representative for contractual matters.
• Lead and support contract negotiations with Government customers and other authorized parties.
• Manage contract modifications, amendments, correspondence, and other contractual actions.
• Coordinate and oversee proposal submissions and associated contractual documentation.
• Review contract terms, conditions, requirements, deliverables, and modifications to identify contractual obligations and potential risks.
• Provide guidance to company and project leadership regarding contract requirements, interpretations, and compliance.
• Maintain contract files, correspondence, modifications, approvals, and other required documentation.
• Track contractual deliverables, reporting requirements, periods of performance, funding, options, and other key contract milestones.
• Coordinate with project management, finance, operations, subcontract administration, and executive leadership to ensure contractual requirements are understood and met.
• Support change management activities and evaluate potential impacts to cost, schedule, scope, and performance.
• Identify contractual risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Manage and coordinate responses to Government contractual requests and correspondence.
• Support the preparation, review, and submission of proposals, change requests, and other contract-related documentation.
• Maintain effective working relationships with Government Contracting Officers, Contracting Officer's Representatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure contract administration activities comply with applicable Federal regulations, contractual requirements, and company policies.
• Represent cyDaptiv Solutions professionally and exercise sound judgment in matters involving contractual commitments and obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, a related field, or the project's functional area from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in the contracting field.
• Relevant contracting experience in a management-level capacity.
• Demonstrated experience with contract negotiations, modifications, proposal submissions, and contract administration.
• Experience interpreting complex contract terms, conditions, requirements, and modifications.
• Strong understanding of Federal Government contracting processes and practices.
• Demonstrated ability to identify contractual risks and provide guidance to senior leadership and project teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple contractual priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to effectively represent the company when interacting with Government customers and other external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience administering Department of Defense or other Federal Government contracts.
• Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency supplements.
• Experience supporting competitive proposals, contract modifications, and Government negotiations.
