Sr. Android Developer Share Contractual Jersey City, NJ | Wilmington, DE
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and related technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Optimize application performance and enhance user experience.
- Stay current with the latest Android development trends, frameworks, and best practices.
- Integrate mobile applications with backend services in collaboration with backend engineers.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
- Contribute to all phases of the app lifecycle, from concept to deployment and post-release support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming.
- In-depth understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and development tools.
- Experience with Android UI/UX design principles and Material Design guidelines.
- Knowledge of Android architecture components (MVVM, MVI, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and JSON integration.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
- Passion for mobile development and delivering high-quality user experiences.
