BAR MANAGER

CRESCENT YACHT CLUB is seeking a BAR MANAGER to join our staff at our casual friendly yacht club located on the Merrimac River in Bradford.   CYC is in need of a passionate and creative leader.  The right candidate will have:

·         3-5 years of bar management experience or equivalent experience

·         Valid drivers license

·         Must be certified in food safety, allergy and CPR

·         Meet state minimum age to serve alcohol

·         Strong task and time management abilities

·         High school diploma or equivalent

·         Ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

·         Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

·         Excellent computer, problem-solving and customer service skills

·         Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays

·         The ability to motivate, educate, train, hire and develop staff

·         Required to maintain bar license

·         Good accounting/finance knowledge to balance daily receipts

Responsibilities include:

·         Hiring, maintaining and scheduling bar staff

·         Bank deposits and financial reporting

·         Maintain current liquor license, negotiating with suppliers, contracts, inventory management

·         Creating effective schedules, maintaining a safe environment, ensuring licenses are updated and in line with current legislation.
