Role Description The Maintenance Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in Nashville, TN, responsible for supporting the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities and systems. This role includes performing routine inspections, addressing guest room and common area maintenance requests, and ensuring equipment and building systems operate reliably. Daily tasks involve diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, completing repairs, and documenting work performed. The Maintenance Technician also conducts preventive maintenance on equipment and infrastructure, coordinates with vendors when needed, and follows safety standards and company policies. This position works closely with hotel operations and other team members to minimize downtime, support guest satisfaction, and maintain a clean, functional, and comfortable environment. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Equipment Maintenance and Industrial Maintenance skills to support hotel facilities and building systems. Candidates should possess Troubleshooting and Maintenance & Repair skills to identify issues quickly and perform timely, effective fixes. Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to inspect, service, and maintain equipment and infrastructure on a scheduled basis. Relevant experience in hotel, commercial, or residential maintenance, including basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry knowledge. Ability to read and follow work orders, safety guidelines, and equipment manuals, with strong attention to detail and time management. Capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and moving equipment, while adhering to health and safety practices. Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
