About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a focus on real estate. The successful candidate will work closely with the CEO and family ownership to lead financial operations, manage a team of 10 accounting professionals, and play a pivotal role in financing, refinancing, and shaping the capital strategy for the existing portfolio. Key responsibilities include leading financing and refinancing activities, managing lender relationships, and overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The CFO will also be involved in assessing property-level performance, leading a team, and ensuring financial risk management and regulatory compliance. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of accounting and financial controllership experience in the real estate sector, with a strong background in both residential and commercial properties. The role requires a candidate with a CPA or MBA qualification, advanced financial modeling and analysis skills, and experience in leading real estate financing and refinancing transactions. Proficiency in Yardi or a comparable property management system is essential, with a preference for those with experience in Yardi Voyager. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading a large accounting team, working closely with senior leadership, and have a proven track record in financial strategy and capital allocation.
