TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Virginia!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – Virginia

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Virginia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 or 48 hours per week, 13-week assignment. Weekend coverage required with rotating days based on staffing needs. Every other holiday rotation. Block scheduling not available. Maximum 40 hours time off per contract.

Highlights:

• High-acuity Emergency Department with 71 beds and average daily census of 165 visits
• Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain (STEMI) Center
• Patient ratios of 4-5 patients across all shifts
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation
• Multidisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Social Services
• Diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements:

• Active Virginia RN license or pending (must be in hand by Wednesday before start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Must have either 1 year Level I trauma experience OR 2 years Level II trauma experience
• Pediatric patient experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• TNCC certification required (may be pending at submission but must be obtained before start date)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
• BSN preferred
