Pennsylvania Attorney Opportunity - Creditors' Rights / Litigation

Location Philadelphia, PA Our client is seeking a Pennsylvania-licensed Attorney to join its legal team handling civil collection and litigation matters. This role is a strong fit for an attorney who is comfortable managing cases independently, negotiating resolutions, and appearing in court as needed throughout an assigned territory. Key Responsibilities Negotiate settlements and work toward resolution of active litigation matters. Draft, review, and file pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and other legal documents. Represent clients at hearings and trials throughout the assigned region. Work closely with internal staff, opposing counsel, and other parties to move cases toward timely and appropriate resolution. Evaluate case details and determine effective strategies for settlement and litigation. Maintain organized case files, deadlines, and priorities across an active caseload. Travel within the assigned territory for court appearances as necessary, with mileage and eligible travel expenses reimbursed. Qualifications Active Pennsylvania Bar license in good standing. Familiarity with civil litigation, courtroom procedures, and applicable legal processes. Strong negotiation and analytical skills with the ability to evaluate cases and pursue effective resolutions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and case management abilities. Detail-oriented with the ability to effectively manage multiple cases, deadlines, and priorities. Comfortable working independently while maintaining professional communication with clients, courts, counsel, and colleagues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and work effectively within technology-based systems.
