Process Technician 1 (Weekend Shift)

Position Summary Process Technician I in P1 – Plant 1, Jamestown. This role focuses on the chemical processing of aircraft parts and final assemblies, including aqueous cleaning, chemical etching, chromate conversion coating, anodizing (sulfuric, non‑chromic, hard coat, red & black dye & phosphoric acid), passivation, abrasive blasting, heat treatment of aluminum and laboratory analysis. Shift: Friday – Sunday, 6:00am – 6:30pm. U.S. citizenship is required; sponsorship is not offered. No security clearance is required. Responsibilities Perform chemical processing of detailed parts and final assemblies to current specifications. Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste and maintain knowledge of all chemicals used. Apply customer and company specifications, international standards, and finish requirements to each process. Process parts to pass all required evaluations and maintain documentation to meet customer requirements. Adhere to housekeeping, safety practices, and occupational health protocols. Operate and maintain applicable equipment with minimal supervision. Interpret part drawings, illustrated plans, and work instructions. Wear and use personal protective equipment as required. Communicate effectively with co‑workers and personnel in other departments. Follow work instructions and maintain process records. Qualifications – Must Have High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Minimum 1year of relevant experience (needing 3years if a high school diploma/GED is not present). Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
