Human Resources Generalist

Support the Waukesha/Milwaukee employee group by owning core HR operations across recruiting, relations, compliance, and benefits in an onsite, deadline-driven environment. Responsibilities Handle day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to employees and managers Manage full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding Maintain employee records and ensure accuracy of HR data Support employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and reinforcing a positive workplace culture; elevate to the HR Manager when necessary Administer benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and benefits questions Ensure HR practices align with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations Support performance management activities, including reviews and disciplinary actions Coordinate training and development initiatives Prepare HR reports and metrics as needed Partner with the HR Specialist and HR Manager to support payroll-related processes Requirements Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2-4 years of HR experience in a generalist or similar role Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred but not required Tools & Technologies HRIS systems Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Environment Office-based role with occasional remote work flexibility (if applicable) Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer May occasionally need to lift up to 20 pounds Location: Waukesha, WI (onsite) Compensation: USD 55,000 - 60,000 per year Experience: Minimum 2 years #J-18808-Ljbffr Zander Solutions, LLC
