Work Environment

This is a full-time remote position that allows for flexibility and work-life balance while continuing to provide essential mental health services through telehealth. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental, emotional, and psychological states, using standardized tools and clinical judgment.
• Develop and execute tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client’s unique needs and goals, adapting strategies as necessary.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy using therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant interventions.
• Regularly monitor progress towards treatment goals, adjusting care approaches in collaboration with clients to optimize outcomes.
• Provide crisis intervention during high-stress situations, offering immediate support and resources as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with all legal standards and ethical practices.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to client care.
• Stay current with advancements in mental health care by participating in professional development and training opportunities.
• Adhere strictly to ethical guidelines and professional standards established by licensing boards and mental health organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Grateful Guidance, you will work with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a wide spectrum of issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Your role will be pivotal in helping these individuals achieve better mental health and enhance their quality of life through targeted therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LCSW).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills related to a variety of mental health issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Empathetic, compassionate approach toward clients, focused on their well-being.
• A proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

Preferred Experience
