Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our Medical Assisting. This is a full-time, professional position reporting directly to the Dean of Education. The primary responsibility will be to teach Medical Assisting courses. The typical teaching load is three courses each term. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Requirements

• § Diploma Required (complete based on position as per accrediting and licensing agency standards)
• § Certification in Medical Assisting
• § At least three years of verifiable experience in Medical Assisting
• § Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• § Highly organized, motivated and results driven
• § Prior teaching experience preferred but will train the right candidate
