Director of Sales

the client is seeking a Director of Sales to lead the transformation of its national sales organization. This role is designed for a high-growth, acquisitive environment and offers executive visibility, significant influence, and autonomy to build scalable commercial strategies. The position will architect sales processes, coach a geographically dispersed team, and help shape the future direction of a growing organization serving commercial customers across multiple markets. Responsibilities include leading, mentoring, and developing business development and sales professionals; establishing a high-accountability sales culture centered on execution, coaching, customer relationships, and measurable results; and designing scalable outbound sales strategies to generate new business opportunities. The role will define ideal customer profiles, territory and prospecting approaches, and sales playbooks, while also implementing performance metrics, forecasting processes, pipeline management standards, and CRM discipline. In addition, the director will drive and optimize Salesforce utilization and reporting accuracy, personally support strategic customer pursuits, and partner cross-functionally with executive leadership, operations, finance, and marketing to align commercial objectives with business priorities. The client is looking for demonstrated success leading and scaling B2B outbound sales organizations, including building repeatable sales processes, forecasting methods, KPIs, and prospecting strategies. Strong experience selling commercial services—such as to property managers, commercial property owners, and related real estate organizations—is expected, along with a proven ability to coach and elevate sales professionals. The role requires executive-level communication and cross-functional influence, comfort in fast-paced entrepreneurial settings, working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, and the ability to travel approximately 50 percent as business needs require. Preferred experience may include commercial facility or related B2B services industries, leadership through rapid growth or organizational transformation, and existing relationships in commercial real estate and property management markets.
