Roving Building Engineer

Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance, necessary maintenance, and most repairs on the building’s mechanical, electrical, HVAC and plumbing systems to ensure they run efficiently and safely. Respond to client requests, prioritize, complete work orders, and follow up to minimize downtime and maintain clear communication. Ensure the safety of clients and their properties through proper maintenance practices. Qualifications At least 3 years of experience in building/property maintenance or engineering. CFC Certification (or ability to obtain). Solid working knowledge of HVAC systems/maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and other building mechanical equipment. Flexibility to be on-call for after-hours or weekend emergency requests. Valid driver’s license and a clear motor vehicle record (MVR). Relevant licenses based on building and jurisdictional requirements. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills and general maintenance skills. Location and Compensation Area/Location: Bloomington or San Bernardino, CA Approximate Hourly Range: $32.60/hour to $41/hour. Our hourly ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all U.S. locations; individual pay is determined by location and other factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education or training.
