Project Manager | Las Vegas, NV

Nexeo Staffing is looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee customer projects and after-sales service for a manufacturing and distribution company specializing in automated packaging machinery. This role manages technical projects from order confirmation through delivery, installation, commissioning, and final acceptance.

The ideal candidate has a strong manufacturing or technical background, excellent customer service skills, and experience coordinating projects across engineering, production, procurement, sales, and service teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer projects from order receipt through delivery, installation, startup, commissioning, and final acceptance.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, implementation plans, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate activities among sales, engineering, procurement, production, logistics, and service departments.
• Monitor manufacturing, delivery, and shipment schedules to keep projects on track.
• Lead or participate in project review meetings and provide customers with clear progress updates.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, scopes of supply, service contracts, and cost estimates.
• Review technical requirements, bills of materials, service needs, drawings, and commercial terms.
• Provide first-level technical support and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
• Support onsite installation, testing, commissioning, startup, and customer training when required.
• Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, spare parts, maintenance requests, and service visits.
• Confirm service scope and warranty status, obtain approvals, and prepare service quotations when applicable.
• Maintain accurate project, pricing, payment, and service records.
• Follow up with customers to confirm successful resolution and overall satisfaction.
• Recommend maintenance programs, spare parts, equipment upgrades, training, and service agreements.
• Build strong, professional relationships with customers and address concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in project management, technical customer support, quotation preparation, after-sales service, or a related role.
• Experience with automated machinery, packaging equipment, manufacturing equipment, industrial systems, or other technical products is strongly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple technical projects and competing priorities.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional departments and customer-facing projects.
• Strong technical aptitude, troubleshooting ability, and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings, bills of materials, and cost information.
• Experience preparing quotes, proposals, scopes of work, or cost estimates.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Strong planning, organization, prioritization, and follow-through skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, project management, or service management systems.
• Ability to travel periodically to customer sites.
• Preferred:
  • Experience with automated packaging machinery.
  • Experience in industrial automation.
  • Experience working with manufacturing equipment.
  • Machinery installation and commissioning experience.
  • Technical project management experience.
  • After-sales service experience.
  • Field service coordination experience.
  • Experience with mechanical or electrical equipment.
  • Equipment quotation and cost estimating experience.

Pay

$30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
