Write simple correspondence. Present information effectively in one‑on‑one and small group situations. Carry out detailed written or oral instructions using common sense. The Opportunity The Part‑time Associate reports to the Store Manager and performs management‑assigned duties, which may include but are not limited to receiving inventory, stocking and maintaining a store section, operating a cash register, carry‑out services and store cleaning. Specific Duties Maintain a store section, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment; ensure proper pricing and rotation; set up advertising/promotional displays, review invoices for accuracy. Clean and maintain sanitation standards in all interior, exterior areas and the parking lot. Operate a cash register, receive payment, make change, process checks and card transactions, verify eligibility for alcoholic beverage sales. Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers and load purchases into vehicles when requested. Perform basic bookkeeping duties: record lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
