Community Program Manager

Community Program Manager Industry Gaming Location Santa Monica, CA Duration 12 months Responsibilities Own end-to-end project and program plans, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions, owners, and delivery status across client, web, content publishing, influencer, and ecosystem initiatives. Facilitate strategic discussions and planning forums across Product, Community, Web, Content Operations, Influencer, Ecosystem, Regional Publishing, partner teams, and external vendors. Coordinate teams and vendors to ensure projects are appropriately scoped, staffed, sequenced, and delivered through key milestones. Maintain visibility into progress and proactively identify cross-project dependencies, risks, blockers, ownership gaps, and decision needs; provide clear options and recommendations when priorities conflict. Track production readiness for playtests and other community initiatives, including milestones, handoffs, approvals, escalations, and lessons learned for improved operating models and project playbooks. Requirements 4+ years of experience in project management, program management, production operations, publishing operations, or a related field. Experience managing multiple projects or complex programs from planning through delivery, including milestone, risk, dependency, and status management. Strong meeting facilitation, communication, decision documentation, judgment, follow-through, and ability to turn ambiguity into actionable plans. Experience coordinating across multidisciplinary teams, global or distributed teams, and external partners or vendors. Experience in gaming, entertainment, technology, or related industries preferred; familiarity with playtests, closed betas, user research, player events, creator programs, community initiatives, or regional publishing is a plus.
