Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $11.00 - $17.00 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage for the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Job Overview The Delivery Specialist will maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and/or products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will also collect money on C.O.D. deliveries and pick up customer returns. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and conduct daily inspections before operating. Secure vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and fill out driver return slips. Communicate customer problems or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure the fuel tank is filled and lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day. Clock in/out according to company policy. Perform additional duties as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking and straightening stock, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in and putting up stock orders, and assisting customers or serving as a cashier when business dictates. Qualifications Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations. Driving record must meet the company's 14/18‑point system. Must possess a legally required state driver's license and meet company‑mandated driving eligibility requirements. Familiarity with automotive parts is desired. Ability to operate other light store equipment. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
