About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jan 1, 2027. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient cardiology care, including diagnostic and non-invasive procedures, as well as various bedside and minor procedures, across a schedule of night and evening shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient cardiology care.
• Perform diagnostic and non-invasive procedures.
• Interpret EKGs.
• Supervise and interpret stress tests (exercise and pharmacologic).
• Support echocardiogram ordering and interpretation.
• Review Holter and event monitors.
• Perform suture removal and wound care for post-surgical cardiac patients.
• Place central lines.
• Place arterial lines.
• Remove femoral and radial sheaths after cardiac catheterization.
• Perform cardioversion.
