Bookkeeper
Location: Los Angeles, CA 90036 (On-Site)
Compensation: $80,000–$90,000 annually
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site Only (No Remote or Hybrid)
The Hire Mark is recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established importer and wholesale distributor of consumer electronics, seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team in Los Angeles.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who can work independently, oversee an offshore accounting support team, and take ownership of the company's day-to-day financial operations.
ResponsibilitiesManage full-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting operations
Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Desktop
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
Prepare monthly financial statements and assist with month-end and year-end close
Record journal entries and maintain the general ledger
Manage inventory accounting and reconcile inventory transactions
Coordinate with the company's outside CPA for tax preparation and year-end reporting
Monitor cash flow and ensure timely vendor payments
Supervise and coordinate an offshore bookkeeping/accounting support team
Identify and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and accuracy
Provide financial reporting and support to company leadership
5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience required
Expert-level QuickBooks Desktop experience is required
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Experience managing or coordinating offshore accounting or bookkeeping staff
Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial reporting
Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Accounting experience within an importing, wholesale, distribution, or e-commerce business
Inventory accounting experience
Experience supporting multi-channel sales operations is highly desirable
$80,000–$90,000 annual salary
