RN - CCU

ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - 12 Hour Day or Night Shifts

This is a 13-week contract position.

12-hour shifts, available for day or night assignments. Schedule consists of 72 hours every two weeks.

Manage and provide care for patients in a 9-bed ICU setting, ensuring high standards of patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 2:1 unless one-on-one care is required. Be prepared to assist with potential Med/Surg overflow, where the nurse-to-patient ratio may shift to 3 to 4 patients per nurse.

Provide comprehensive patient care in the ICU environment.

Monitor stable pediatric patients as necessary, transferring unstable cases to a higher level of care.

Collaborate with a team of at least three nurses per shift.

Float to other departments as needed without taking on a team of patients.

Take charge nurse duties when assigned, receiving an additional stipend for these responsibilities.

Valid RN licensure.

Current PALS certification.

Experience in pediatric care is essential.
