The Leasing Manager is a results-driven working leader.  They lead the performance and daily execution of our Leasing Department across our single-family and multifamily portfolio. 

The Leasing Manager is responsible for ensuring available properties are marketed effectively, prospective residents receive timely and professional service, and qualified applicants move efficiently from initial inquiry through lease signing and move-in coordination. 

This position owns the performance of the leasing pipeline, including days on market, leasing velocity, and the status of all available properties. The Leasing Manager is also responsible for building and leading a well-trained team that consistently follows Augusta Rental Homes’ documented systems, leasing standards, Fair Housing requirements, application criteria, and Core Values. 

$60,000 - $75,000 yearly

Measures of Success 

The Leasing Manager will be evaluated based on the overall health and performance of the Leasing Department, including: 

• Days on market 

• Leasing velocity 

• Available-property pipeline management 

• Lead response and follow-up performance 

• Showing and application conversion

• Application-processing accuracy and timeliness 

• Approval-to-lease-signing performance Listing and marketing execution 

• Compliance with application criteria, Fair Housing requirements, and leasing policies 

• Team development, accountability, and retention 

• Accuracy and timeliness of reports and leadership updates 

• Team meets the rent ready date, communicates the timeline clearly, completes the LeadSimple process in order, and hands off a home that is fully rent ready

• All properties assigned for marketing are listed in Buildium and live on the ARH website the same business day they are marked ready, with complete and accurate information

Specific performance targets will be maintained through departmental scorecards and company operating standards. 

The ideal candidate will demonstrate: 

• Experience leading and developing a team 

• Strong organizational and process-management skills 

• The ability to interpret leasing reports, metrics, and conversion data Strong written and verbal communication 

• A working knowledge of Fair Housing and residential leasing practices 

• The ability to coach both service and sales performance 

• Sound judgment within established policies and decision-making authority 

• Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and accountability 

• The ability to manage multiple properties, applicants, deadlines, and priorities 

• Comfort learning and using property-management, workflow, and leasing software 

• A service-driven mindset balanced with a strong focus on results, consistency, and compliance 

• Knowledge of marketing and advertising via social media platforms

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Required to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate a vehicle to visit and perform property inspections.
