Veterinary Nursing Faculty- Full Time

Full-time Veterinary Nursing FacultyHarcum College has an opening for a full-time CVT/faculty member.Qualifications/Skills:B.S. or M.S. degree requiredCurrent Pennsylvania veterinary technology license (CVT)Previous teaching experience in a veterinary nursing/technology program required. Teaching experience in clinical practice will also be considered.Must be available 12 months/yearResponsibilities:Teaching responsibility of 15 credits per semester which may include both lecture and laboratory classes.Active participation in curriculum development and individual course modification for improvement as neededEffectively plan, organize and execute the instruction of students.Assess student needs and progress in both theory and/or clinical skills.Provide students with lab experiences that enhance theoretical classroom concepts.Participate in Admissions events as needed.Take an active role as an advisor for the SCNAVTA group.Other duties as assigned.ScholarshipMaintain current knowledge of subject areas taught.Demonstrate continued professional development and maintain active CVT license.ServiceActively participate in College-wide committeesFoster effective public relationsActively participate in professional associationsAssist with preparation of materials required for accreditationActively participate in Department Committees (ie.
