Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions, addressing a range of emotional and psychological challenges with evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate family and group counseling sessions when informed by your expertise to foster healthy communication and support among family members.

• Administer mental health screenings to assess treatment needs accurately, providing insights that guide ongoing care strategies.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and modify treatment approaches collaboratively.

• Perform additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall functions of the outpatient facility.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on working with a diverse client base, including adolescents and their families dealing with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Your role is crucial in not only addressing immediate concerns but also empowering clients throughout their wellness journey, fostering resilience and positive coping strategies.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in counseling from an accredited institution.

• Current and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Oregon.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience providing counseling services to individuals and families in a professional setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with specific populations, such as adolescents, families, or individuals facing trauma and behavioral challenges.

• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and person-centered approaches, and an openness to integrating new techniques.

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
