PACU Registered Nurse Opportunity Full-Time / Comprehensive Benefits / Sign-On Bonus Available / Relocation Assistance Offered
MLR is seeking a full-time, permanent, direct-hire PACU Registered Nurse to join their client's dedicated and growing surgical services team!
Key Responsibilities for PACU Registered Nurse:
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, ensuring comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Conduct PACU assessments, including reviewing medical history and administering necessary medications.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families on preoperative and postoperative care expectations.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications:
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Colorado.
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- CPR/BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred).
- At 2 years of previous experience in a PACU setting is required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage patient care efficiently.
