Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, inclusive of physical examinations and in-depth medical history evaluations
• Assist in diagnosing surgical cases, leveraging imaging studies and laboratory results
• Collaborate directly with surgeons to craft and implement individualized surgical treatment plans
• Offer pivotal intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, facilitating patient positioning, and passing instruments during surgery
• Provide outstanding pre- and post-operative care, encompassing medication delivery, wound management, discharge strategies, and patient education

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Experience in surgical rotations highly preferred

Certifications

• Valid and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
