Team Leader - Non Invasive Cardiology (RN or Sonographer) Location: Memorial Medical Center, 800 W 9th St, Jasper, IN 47546, USA *This position can be filled with an RN, Sonographer or Echo/Vascular Sonographer Responsibilities In addition to meeting the basic standards of a Staff RN, the Team Leader is expected to role model and exceed the Standards of Performance. In conjunction with the Manager, s/he is to assume the accountability for the quality of nursing care delivered on a specific unit. The Team Leader gives direct care and oversees the care given by other nursing personnel on the unit. The Team Leader coordinates orientation of staff members, participates in evaluating their performance, and provides continuing education. Assists the Manager in planning and managing the resources necessary for the delivery of patient care in the specified area. Required Certifications/Licenses/Education Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in applicable state. Maintains required certifications as required per unit. Basic Life Support: Health Care Provider required. Minimum 2 years RN experience and at least one year RN experience in specialty required. BSN preferred, or education plan in place. ACLS, PALS certification. Incentives Eligible for evening/night, weekend shift incentive based on company policies and applicable job codes.
