Schedule: Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM with a one hour lunch

Nesco Resource is hiring a Customer Service Representative in Cleveland for a great opportunity with an established company. This role is about much more than answering phones. You'll work directly with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams to manage orders, answer questions, resolve issues, and make sure customers have the information they need.

What You'll Do:
• Provide excellent customer service to current and prospective customers through phone, email, and other communication channels.
• Manage customer accounts and assist with order processing from start to finish.
• Process orders while ensuring pricing, shipping information, payment terms, freight terms, and customer requirements are accurate.
• Communicate current lead times, order status, stock availability, and other important information to customers.
• Coordinate with internal departments to help ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time.
• Work closely with internal and external Sales Representatives to maintain customer accounts and relationships.
• Provide sales representatives with key customer and sales information as needed.
• Monitor reports and identify potential order issues before they become bigger problems.
• Investigate shipping issues, including shortages, overages, damaged or lost shipments, refusals, and incorrect shipments.
• Keep customers informed about order schedules, pricing changes, and other updates.
• Issue return goods authorizations and enter information into the company system according to return policies.
• Submit credit requests when necessary and investigate basic account and credit information.
• Maintain phone availability in accordance with company guidelines.
• Provide basic product troubleshooting and preventative maintenance information when needed.
• Assist with identifying service parts and product breakdowns.
• Send product literature and information to customers, sales representatives, and accounts.
• Work with the Lead Customer Care Representative when additional assistance is needed.
• Provide support in other Customer Care functions as needed.
• Take on additional assignments and projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is friendly, organized, dependable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

The ideal candidate will have:
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer training and comfort working with computer systems.
• Some college coursework or leadership training is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic to intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, Access, and internet applications.
• The ability to work with a multi-line phone system and standard office equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
• The ability to communicate professionally with customers, sales representatives, and internal departments.
• The ability to stay organized and follow through when issues need to be researched or resolved.

A Few More Details:

This position requires sitting for extended periods and performing repetitive typing and computer work. The work environment includes both an office/cubicle setting and occasional time on the factory floor.
