Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Location: Syracuse, New York

Duration - 13 Weeks

Position Overview:
Seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join a busy outpatient surgery center. The ideal candidate will have recent OR experience and be comfortable caring for both pediatric and adult surgical patients in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Assignment Details:

• Full-Time Position
• Day Shift
• Monday–Friday Schedule
• 8-Hour Shifts
• 80 Hours Biweekly
• No On-Call Requirements
• No Weekends
• No Holiday Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State Registered Nurse License
• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room experience
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification
• Experience caring for pediatric patients (6 months and older) and adults

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized perioperative nursing care
• Prepare operating rooms and verify availability of sterile equipment and supplies
• Monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
• Ensure safe patient positioning and adherence to surgical safety standards
• Facilitate smooth transitions from surgery to recovery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary surgical teams
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation

• Outpatient Surgery Centers
