Certifications: - Active American Heart Association BLS - Active American Heart Association ACLS - Active Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - Active S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification - Active Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) Certification
Must-Have: - Ability to function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB (highly preferred)

The Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients during their shift. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPNs and Unit Secretaries. Demonstration of flexibility with work schedule changes is required.
