Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Seeking a experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have strong pediatric experience and demonstrate ability to manage diverse emergency cases with efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions upon arrival and prioritize care based on severity.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun for patient management.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement effective care plans.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in the electronic medical record.
  
  
• 
  Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid New York RN license and all applicable licenses in good standing.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Department settings.
  
  
• 
  Current certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrated experience with Epic EMR system.
  
  
• 
  Must have reliable documentation of travel experience if applicable.
  
  
• 
  Must possess a drivers license with address matching demographics.
