Corporate Development Manager

The Corporate Development Manager plays a key role in driving strategic growth initiatives through financial analysis, investment evaluation and M&A execution. This position is responsible for developing financial models, assessing acquisition opportunities, conducting due diligence and supporting strategic planning initiatives. The role partners closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to evaluate business opportunities, build investment cases and provide data-driven recommendations that support long-term growth objectives. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and financial modeling skills, experience with mergers and acquisitions, excellent communication abilities and a proven track record of managing complex projects from evaluation through execution. Key Responsibilities Evaluate acquisition and investment opportunities through financial modeling, valuation analysis and investment underwriting. Build transaction models (DCF, LBO or accretion/dilution), pro forma financials and ROI analyses to support decision-making. Lead due diligence by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing data rooms and tracking key deliverables. Prepare executive- and board-level presentations outlining investment rationale, financial analysis, risks and recommendations. Support transaction negotiations and assist with post-acquisition integration planning and performance tracking. Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, partnerships, joint ventures and other growth opportunities. Conduct market research, competitive analysis and scenario planning to identify strategic opportunities and risks. Support long-term strategic planning, capital allocation decisions and enterprise-wide growth initiatives. Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, commercial and other cross-functional teams to execute strategic projects. Build and maintain financial models to support forecasting, planning and performance measurement. Evaluate the financial impact of strategic initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to senior leadership. Support executive reporting, board presentations and special projects with clear, data-driven analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field. Four to seven years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, corporate finance, management consulting or a similar analytical role. Strong financial modeling and valuation experience, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution and pro forma analysis. Experience supporting M&A transactions, including due diligence, financial analysis and cross-functional coordination. Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to create executive-level presentations and communicate complex financial concepts clearly. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience within the industrial, manufacturing, energy or chemical sectors is a plus, but not required.
