You'll help customers understand what their vehicles need while making sure they receive an excellent experience from beginning to end. Responsibilities Greeting customers and identifying their service needs Writing accurate repair orders Communicating customer concerns to technicians Reviewing technician inspections and recommendations Explaining repairs and maintenance clearly to customers Providing estimates and obtaining repair authorization Keeping customers informed throughout the repair process Reviewing completed repairs and invoices Recommending appropriate maintenance based on vehicle needs and manufacturer guidelines Following up with customers Building long-term customer relationships Working closely with technicians, parts, and management Helping achieve departmental sales, productivity, and customer satisfaction goals Qualifications Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is comfortable speaking with customers in person, by phone, text, and email Is organized and able to manage multiple priorities Can work effectively in a fast-paced environment Is comfortable using computers and learning dealership software Has strong follow-through and attention to detail Is motivated by goals and performance-based compensation Works well as part of a team Is dependable, professional, and accountable Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn Has a valid driver's license Can meet applicable MVR requirements Can successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check Previous automotive service experience is preferred, but we are absolutely willing to train the right person. Automotive knowledge is a plus, but experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or another fast-paced customer-facing position can translate extremely well into this role.
