To learn more about our firm, visit us at Workers' Compensation Paralegal The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting and organizing documents and information related to multiple cases within the firm. This individual should be comfortable communicating messages between different teams and maintaining organized records of all pertinent case materials. Responsibilities Review file materials and medical records for case management purposes Review and prepare documents Assist with case management Prepare and electronically file pleadings Coordinate and schedule calendars Track and bill time to appropriate matters Conduct legal research Required Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software Ability to maintain confidential information Qualifications Experience as a paralegal preferably in the workers' compensation practice area Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate Physical Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms Must be able to lift to 20 pounds at times Expected Hours of Work Full-time position with a 40-hour work week; Monday through Friday Swift Currie offers competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, a 401(k) plan with profit sharing, generous paid time off, and holiday leave.
