Job Information Job Title: Staff Refinery Operations Specialist Job Code: 20001321 Job Family: Operations FLSA Status: Exempt Job Function: Refinery Production Operations Job Level: Professional IV Job Requirements Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for unit operations. Responsible for longer-term capacity of their area, including working with E&P to set MOP and production targets, unit optimizing, identifying capital project opportunities, and turnaround planning and execution. Provide escalation path for the shift team, and if needed manage, supervise, direct, and lead the day-to-day activities of team within assigned area to ensure safe and quality production and meet identified goals. Assists OMC in setting maintenance priorities. Manages the process for developing, editing, approving, and certifying procedures. Working with the Technical Trainer, develops and tracks training and qualification materials and plans. Implements Operations Excellence initiatives for their units. Education and Experience Eight (8) or more years’ Experience in a related field (Required). Refining Industry experience (Preferred). 4-year/Bachelor's Degree (Preferred). In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of experience may be considered. No Licensure or Certification Required.
