About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Corporate Development to play a pivotal role in shaping its strategic growth and direction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of corporate development strategies that are in line with the organization's objectives. This includes the identification and evaluation of strategic partnerships, alliances, and M&A opportunities, as well as leading the entire process from sourcing to execution. The VP will also be involved in market analysis, due diligence, and ensuring the successful integration of new ventures. A key aspect of the role is to provide strategic insights to the executive team and board, and to cultivate relationships with external partners and industry leaders. Applicants for the VP of Corporate Development position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years' experience in transactions, partnerships, alliances, and M&A. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in business planning, strong financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Experience in working directly with a CEO, a strong network in relevant industries, and excellent financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to influence across functions, and will demonstrate high levels of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
