Description

• Assess patients across all age groups using comprehensive evaluation tools and observational strategies.
• Create individualized therapy plans that cater to immediate and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver personalized speech therapy focusing on vocalization, speech clarity, fluency, and swallowing techniques.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to develop integrated care approaches.
• Educate patients and their families to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions to ensure continuity of care.
• Keep precise and timely records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning to stay on top of innovations in speech pathology.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
• Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not already certified by ASHA.

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred ASHA Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
