National Sales Representative

Milestone Industrial is seeking a motivated and energetic National Sales Representative to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Vice President, this individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and supporting revenue growth across targeted markets. This is a full-cycle sales role — from prospecting and lead generation to closing and onboarding — with a strong emphasis on solution selling, customer service, and account development. The role demands a proactive and self-motivated professional who excels in a fast-paced environment and collaborates effectively to deliver customized solutions that address customer needs. The ideal candidate is highly organized, competitive, and thrives in a dynamic and growing organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Identify, prospect, and engage new B2B customers across industrial and commercial sectors. Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outbound outreach, networking, and relationship building. Conduct discovery meetings to understand customer needs and position Milestone Industrial’s services as tailored solutions. Deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and pricing solutions in collaboration with leadership and operations teams. Sell both internal and subcontract disposal and transportation solutions for non-hazardous industrial waste, hazardous waste, or other environmental services. Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreement, ensuring smooth handoff to the customer success team. Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing accounts, driving customer satisfaction, retention, and up-sell opportunities. Use CRM tools to accurately track activities, manage pipeline stages, and forecast sales results. Collaborate closely with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction. Represent Milestone Industrial at industry events, customer meetings, and networking opportunities to expand brand visibility Willing to travel as neededEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
5+ years of sales experience in industrial waste disposal, field services, logistics, or waste management industry experience strongly preferred. Strong understanding of industrial waste management processes and regulations. Proven ability to generate leads, close deals, and meet or exceed sales targets. Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Comfortable with outbound prospecting, cold calling, and building a book of business from early stages. Experience using CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for pipeline management and reporting. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, growing company environment. Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.TECHNICAL SKILLS
