Branch Manager

Job Description As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the profit and loss (P&L) within a division or group of divisions within a Next Level Branch location. This will include sales and deliver of both construction and service operations within that assigned location. You will also be a key contributor to annual budgeting process, hiring, manpower planning, financial forecasting and customer satisfaction to identify additional duties of this position. This individual shall have no less than 10 years of proven experience within the industry. Branch Manager shall report to Vice President. Job Duties and Responsibilities Technical Expectations Provide effective leadership and management of branch administrative, sales and operations activities to meet customer requirements, sales, profitability and growth goals. People Hire, retain and contribute to the development of a highly trained, motivated and functional branch team. Sustain employee head count that will consistently meet administrative, sales and operations goals. Involve V.P. in the final selection process of sales, supervisory and management personnel. Work with operations supervisory/management personnel in the selection, retention and development of and operations personnel. Work with Corporate Services in the selection, retention and development of administrative/clerical personnel. Oversee the timely completion and submission of quarterly performance reviews. Orders Consistently lead, in conjunction with Sales Leadership, the sales activities necessary to meet volume and gross margin sales goals. Consistently maintain a sales backlog of target jobs and conventional projects that, when closed, will result in meeting quarterly sales goals. Based on traditional close rates, quote the dollar volume necessary to meet sales goals. Meet quarterly sales goals. Sales (Revenue) Oversee operations efforts that result in meeting quarterly sales and gross margin goals. Administration Oversee and support those activities that result in not exceeding sales and administrative expenses. Oversee the activities necessary to maximize cash flow Business Skills Expectations Problem Analysis: Identify problems. Analyze the causes and solutions of problems. Decision-Making: Make judgments after analysis of available information; responding with a timely decision. Planning: Plan your work; deciding time, place and sequence priorities. Written: The timely, consistent completion of project activity reports, service reports and presenting written ideas in a clear and concise manner. Presentation: Orally presenting information and ideas in a clear, concise and convincing manner. Listening: Understanding what has been said and when necessary probing for a better understanding. Interviewing: Gathering and evaluating information about individuals, situations, etc. Skills & Qualifications An undergraduate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Construction Management, or other related studies is excellent but not required. Three years related experience in sales, construction, or technology. Other technical experience such as military, on the job training programs, etc. may meet this requirement as determined by local management. An understanding of basic computer systems including MS Office Suite of products. Clear and concise ability to communicate verbally and in writing. Proficiency in basic computer systems, including the MS Office suite of products. Passion to continuously develop and improve selling skills. Self-motivated.
