This hybrid (non‑remote two days per week) position determines the IT needs of an organization and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of critical business applications, with a specific focus on SAP (or other equivalent ERP experiences). Responsibilities Manage all information technology and computer systems Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems Coordinate with other Global IT teams Track and maintain hardware and software inventory Assist with Financial/IT audit as necessary Set performance goals and conduct regular performance evaluations Create and manage IT budgets, ensuring cost‑effective solutions Ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO, NIST) and regulatory requirements Application implementation and maintenance SAP (ERP) management Be available on 24/7 level to make sure business runs smoothly, without suspension Requirements Japanese speaker at a business level (bilingual English/Japanese preferred) Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred 5+ years of work experience as an IT Manager Experience with accounting systems or accounting background is a plus Proven experience leading and managing IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems Experience with VMware, Azure AD, Networking, Google Workspace, M365 Admin Center, Apple Business Manager Experience with Starship, SAP (FICO, MM, SD, CS) SAP Work Manager, RingCentral, Unifi products, Salesforce Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
