Description

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations using a blend of standardized assessments and observational skills.
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to short and long-term communication, cognition, or swallowing needs.
• Deliver targeted speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, fluency, voice control, and swallowing.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to achieve cohesive patient care.
• Provide education for patients and families to foster ongoing progress outside clinic walls.
• Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments to ensure seamless care throughout treatment.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with all regulatory standards.
• Engage in continuing education and collaboration with peers to stay at the forefront of the profession.

Education

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-hire.
